Time to wake up now

Just got in from Mass. Time to wake up now.

Was almost late....well, actually, I was kinda late, since I walked in at the end of the opening hymn. It was Monsignor's fault, though, we were standing out on the sidewalk in front of the rectory chatting.

Hymns were very Anglican this morning: Ellecombe, Wareham, and Darwall's 148th for the processional, offertory, and recessional and then some lame contemporary responsorial thing that nobody sang called "God is love" at communion. The 9 o'clock has no choir, so it was a hymn and cantor-only affair.

The associate pastor celebrated and had an interesting sermon detailing the history of dieting in America since the 1950s and he told us about the new Holy Trinity—Me, Myself, and I.
